
This will be the tenth year DMAQG has participated in the American
Quilter’s Society Ultimate Guild Challenge. The show, located in
Please note that AQS has changed the registration rules beginning 2007.
Each quilt must be photographed. One CD containing the photographed images
of all the quilts is submitted with the application. The CD is not returned
to the guild. If the quilts are juried into the show, they are then sent to
AQS sometime in July.
There will be a photography charge to each of the eight selected winners. If
you are not willing to pay to have your quilt photographed, this may not be
the challenge for you.
Also, please be sure to include a 4 inch sleeve, attached to the back of
your quilt for proper hanging for photography and hopefully hanging at the
AQS show.

Finished Quilt: 40" X 30" (Horizontal)
The rules for the challenge are as follows:
The quilt may be pieced,
appliqued, painted, stenciled, or embellished in any manner
The finished quilt must
consist of three layers.
The quilt must be
constructed and quilted by one person.
Quilts must be finished (quilted and bound) and hung at the December 2012 Tea, where guild members will vote for the top eight to be entered into the AQS Ultimate Guild Challenge.
