This year, because of the construction in Veteran’s Auditorium, the DMAQG show will be in Wells Fargo Arena along with AQS Special Exhibits and the food vendors. The AQS contest and quilt vendors will be located in HyVee Hall, as in the past.

The Raffle Quilt, along with the Little Quilts Silent Auction, are the main sources of income for our guild. This year’s quilt, Gathering Prairie Petals, is absolutely beautiful! Please sell raffle tickets or purchase them yourself. Tickets and money may be turned in at the show.
As you may be aware, the church has a strict policy on any form of raffles on church properties. They made us aware last week they have concerns about our quilt raffle and have asked us to honor their policy and discontinue any activities around the raffle when we are at the church or on church property. This is a very common church request and I respect them for bringing it to our attention and working with us through this issue. The church has been very good to us through many years, allowed us to call this our meeting place, and have provided space/set-up for reasonable charges. They have made it clear to us they would like us to continue to hold our meetings at their church and hope as a guild we can work through this issue.Little Quilts Silent Auction
The Guild depends on the generosity, great skill and creativity of our members to make outstanding "little quilts". These "little quilts" are a main source of income for our Guild. Please contribute to the success of our quilt show by making a "little quilt" for the silent auction. Quilts should be no larger than 20" per side or 80" total. They do not need to have a sleeve. Please, no framed pieces; we don’t have a way to display them. Come to the show prepared to bid on the fabulous creations from our members! If you have a quilt to donate after August 25, contact Leigh Lussie
