The August 25 DMAQG charity auction was another huge success! Quilters are such giving people in so many ways! $18,028 was raised for our three selected organizations, the American Heart Association, the Alzheimer’s Association, and the Breast Cancer Research Association, setting a new record for contributions. Thanks to everyone who donated items for the live auction and the quilter’s super garage sale, brought treats for the quilter’s cafe, assisted with sale and auction, and who purchased items at the auction and garage sale! Also, a special thanks to Tim Busby, our wonderful auctioneer who donates his time to this cause. This would not have been possible without all of you!
